Payroll Deduction:
Avoid the inconvenience of keeping up with your membership renewal each fall, the payroll deduction option allows you to pay for your membership through a monthly deduction from your retirement payment that automatically rolls over your membership from year to year. Further, signing up for payroll deduction triples the coverage level on the free accidental death and dismemberment insurance that is part of your membership in NCRSP. (if you receive a retirement check – not a disability check – from the NC Retirement System).

Step 2: Fill out form (SSN is required, if you do not want to provide please see our cash pay method)
Step 3: Select Dues Amount
$8.83/month

$6.75/month with NEA R- Life membership
Step 4: Sign form
Step 5: Return completed form
If you wish to pay cash for your membership dues, our current process requires that you join through the NCRSP local unit in your area (this is handled by the local unit Treasurer). To contact your local unit treasurer please click here for a list of local unit treasurers in North Carolina.
