Purpose:

a. To work for state and federal legislation to improve retirement living for members of the Division.

b. To monitor meetings of the General Assembly and of the Boards of Trustees of the State Retirement System and of the State Health Plan.

Composition: The committee will be composed of a representative selected by each region subject to the approval of the president.

e. Plan, develop and implement the annual legislative program, which includes the Retirement System health care, quality of life issues, Social Security, Medicare and other related senior issues.
